We’re so excited to announce that we will now be providing digital images and video clips of our obstetric patient’s ultrasounds directly to them electronically.
These digital images and video clips will be available on any device for our patients to view and even share with friends and family.
About Digital Ultrasound Images
Starting in May 2017, we will be using Trice Imaging to provide you with a link to download digital copies of your pictures via text or email.
All of the ultrasound images are stored securely in the cloud, and are available for patients to access from any device they own.
Please note that we do not allow videotaping of the examination.
Is Digital Is Replacing Paper?
One of the great advantages of moving to digital is that the paper ultrasound images are no longer needed.
No more worrying about losing the paper images, or needing to make copies for friends and family.
With this solution, patients can access and share these images right from their phone or computer in seconds. However, if you still like physical pictures, you will be able to print the images right from your computer.
Academy Women’s Healthcare is pleased to be the first independent ObGyn practice in Southern Colorado to provide this service to our patients.
How To Get The Digital Ultrasound Images
All Obstetric patients will begin receiving access to their digital ultrasound images beginning in May 2017. Access to these images will be emailed and/or texted to the patient after the ultrasound.
Please make sure that you have signed up for our Patient Portal if you haven’t already done so.
